Day 1: MARRAKECH – CASABLANCA – RABAT
The beginning of the Morocco Circuit 8 days is in Marrakech. Morning departure leaving behind Marrakech, we will take the motorway to Casablanca, where we will visit the spectacular Hassan II Mosque.
We continue the circuit to Rabat, the capital of MOROCCO. Where we will know Méchouar, (the ramps and walls that surround the Royal Palace), the Kasbah of Oudayas and the magnificent mausoleum of Mohamed V and Hassan II. We will spend the night in Rabat.
Day 2: RABAT – MEKNES – VOLUBILIS – FEZ:
After breakfast we will go to Meknes, where you can visit luxurious palaces and beautiful mosques as well as one of the most important souks in Morocco.
Continuing our Morocco circuit in 8 days, we arrive at the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a complex declared World Heritage by UNESCO. We will spend the night in Fes.
Day 3: FES HUMANITY HERITAGE (guided tour with official guide)
On the third day we dedicated the whole day to get to know FEZ, with a local guide. Fez is the oldest imperial city in Morocco. We will spend the night in Fez.
The city is divided into three zones, Fes el-Bali, the old zone, within the city walls, Fes el-Jdid, the new zone, where we find the Mellah, the Jewish quarter, and the Ville Nouvelle (New City), the largest zone, created during the French colony, in the south of the city.
The medina of Fez el-Bali, the largest of the two in the city, is the largest pedestrian zone in the world, and was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1981. The city is served by Saïss Airport.
Day 4: FEZ – AZROU – MIDELT – ZIZ VALLEY – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA
Morning departure around 8am, leaving FEZ behind, we head south from MOROCCO passing through Ifran, (the Switzerland of Morocco), and through the cedar forests in AZROU. Stop at a natural parking lot for the monkeys that live there.
We will cross the Ziz Valley and its gorges, passing through villages such as Midelt, Erfoud, from Erfoud we take a desert road to the MERZOUGA desert, the great gateway to the Sahara desert.
Arrival in the afternoon in the village of MERZOUGA, dinner and overnight in a Riad in front of the dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Day 5: MERZOUGA AND ERG CHEBBI – VISIT OF NOMADES – KHAMLIA
The fifth day of our tour in Morocco, we dedicate it completely to enjoy the silence and peace of the desert of MERZOUGA. Approaching the dunes in the 4X4, visiting nomadic villages, we will see Oasis and ride through the dunes of Erg Chebbi.
We discover the famous village of Khamlia, and enjoy its folk music, (Gnawa of Khamlia). Return to the hotel in the afternoon, to live the night experience in the desert, and ride on camels that will take us to a nomadic camp in the heart of the dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Dinner and overnight in Haimas of the desert nomads. Spectacular night to attend a starry sky, an unforgettable experience.
Day 6: MERZOUGA – GARGANTAS DEL TODRA – VALLE DEL DADES
After enjoying the sunrise in the desert of ERG CHEBBI, we start again the adventure through the desert taking again the camels to return to the HOTEL in MERZOUGA. Free time for breakfast and shower in the Hotel.
After the rest we leave the route by the south of MOROCCO, leaving behind the desert of MERZOUGA. We set course for the TODRA GORGES, crossing Berber villages, and palm groves on the way to Tingher.
Finally we arrive at one of the most visited and tourist places in Morocco, the impressive, spectacular and impressive “Gorges du Todra” or as Moroccans call them the Gorges du Tohdra.
It’s a canyon with vertical walls, which extends from its entrance about 18 km towards Imilchil, gradually widening from its entrance to its final stretch where they disappear. At the beginning, the highest walls are located, reaching approximately 300 meters high, with a separation of 10-20 meters wide at its narrowest point.
We finish our 6th day of the Morocco Circuit, in the DADES VALLEY, dinner and accommodation in Hotel/Kasbah, next to the DADES river.
Day 7: DADES GORGE – BOUTAGHRAR – ROSE VALLEY – OUARZAZATE
Short trip between DADES VALLEY and OUARZAZATE, after picking you up in your Hoel/Riad, we will leave for the route of the Thousand Kasbahs, and the Boutghrar caves, where mountain people live today. On the way we will visit the Valley of the Roses, SKOURA, the Amredhyle Kasbah, Kelaat M’gouna and finish our journey for this day in OUARZAZATE. Dinner and overnight at Hotel/Riad.
Day 8: OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU – HIGH ATLAS – MARRAKECH
After breakfast in our hotel in OUARZAZATE, we visit the kasbah of Taourirt, and the museum of cinema in OUARZAZATE.
On the way to MARRAKECH, we will make a stop to visit Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified kasbah declared a world heritage site and where several films were filmed such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, Babel and more.
We continue our tour northwards across the Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka pass, which is 2,260 metres high. Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon transfer to the airport or your hotel. End of trip and our service
