DAY 1 : MARRAKECH / KASBAH AIT BEN HADOUA 1 : MARRAKECH / OUARZAZATE.
After breakfast, early departure for Ouarzazate, a former caravan town on the silk and salt route in the eastern foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Ouarzazate is known as the gateway to the Sahara. First of all, we will travel through the breathtaking scenery of the High Atlas Mountains passing through the Berber village of Taddert and the 2260m high Tizi -in – Tichka. We will stop at the famous Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, 30 kilometers from Ouarzazate. The kasbah is one of the most intriguing red earth castles that line the ancient road of the Kasbahs, and is a UNESCO World Heritage site.we continue on our way to Ouarzazate. We will make a stop to visit the Taourirt Kasbah former home of the famous Pasha Glaoui. The painted ceilings, arches, beautiful windows, small wrought iron works and carpentry have contributed to make it another UNESCO site. The local guide will explain the lifestyle of the pasha in the old feudal Moroccan society, emphasizing the situation of his women, the favorites and concubines, as well as the slaves. In the afternoon, enjoy a private visit of the Atlas Corporation studio, known a film center known for successful productions, including Asterix and Cleopatra directed by Alain Chabat; and the Oscar-winning Gladiator, directed by Ridley Scott. Overnight accommodations will be at the hotel or Riad in Ouarzazate.
DAY 2: OUARZAZATE – SKOURA – KALAAT MGOUNA – DADES GORGES – TODRA GORGES.
You will leave Ouarzazate to Todra Gorge by driving through the “Route of the thousand kasbahs”- the fascinating ones. Sand castles” we will continue on our way to stop in Kalaat Mgouna, “city of the rose” known for roses and its annual festival in the harvest roses in May.After we arrive in Boumalne Dades we will turn left to follow the valley to see the incredible rock formations “the monkey fingers”, and the still standing Kasbah of 19th century Ait Yul. Leave the Dades valley towards Tinghir and the Todra valley. See the panoramic views of the ancient Berber mud villages overlooking the valley. Reach the Gorge and walk under the high red cliff 300m, our trekking guide will take you on a walk between the palm trees “1 hour and half”, where many climbers come to enjoy their sport.overnight preferred accommodation will be in guest house.
DAY 3: TODRA-ERFOUD GORGE – RISSANI – MERZOUGA (CAMEL SAFARI)
Today our trip will take us to Erfoud and Rissani where we have lunch; after that, we go to the village of Merzouga, where your camel is expected. before riding your camel, guided by an experienced Camel man, to explore inside the mysterious sand sea of Erg Chebbi-. Here you can spend the night under the stars, or if you prefer, in a traditional nomadic Berber tent.
DAY 4 : MERZOUGA – ERG CHEBBI TOUR (GNAWA MUSIC MINES VISIT, THE BLACK DESERT, NOMADIC PEOPLE – MERZOUGA ) .
After visiting the village and oasis of Merzouga, you will visit the Gnawa people, originally slaves brought from Sudan, to experience their music and their lifestyle, and then we continue to see the panoramic view behind the Erg Chebbi sand dunes in order to take many pictures and to see how the color of the dunes change with the sunlight afterwards until the village of Mirdani – an ancient ruined village – also stop
in M’fis , the place where coal was mined and the vast majority of the population of Merzouga worked to earn a living. A very interesting day spent in or very close to the dunes – the highest dunes in Morocco. After the village of Mirdani we followed the Bedouin families into their tents in Kem Kem . After having tea there we continue to finish the tour with the visit where you can see the fossils and the oasis of TISSARDMINE in the afternoon we return to Merzouga hotel or riad .
DAY 5: MERZOUGA-VALLEY ZIZ-MEDILT
After the wonderful sunrise in Merzouga we will travel through Medilt Errachidia along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock, and through the Tizi Ntalghamt Pass to Midelt. where we will spend the last night before we drop you off in Fez.
DAY 6: MEDILT – ZAIDA-AZROU – IFRAN – FES.
During this trip you will experience some views of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas Mountains. Stopping in Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest – the largest in Morocco – where you can see well known Berber monkeys. After some time in the forest, your journey continues towards the Middle Atlas Mountains and the Berber village of Immouzer Kandar and Ifrane, a wonderful mountain village, referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco”. On to Ifran “the French village”, stop for a photo or a drink then drive to Fes where the tour ends
