Day 1: Tangier / Chauen
Meeting at the port of Tangier according to the agreed schedule and departure in the direction of Chaouen, ” the blue city ” Charming city located in the Rif Mountains, which rises above the town like two horns, thus giving the name to the city (Chefchaouen in Berber means: “look at the horns”). Day 3: Chafchauen / Fez
We continue our journey to Fez, the Imperial City whose origin dates back to the 8th century. It is also one of the first holy cities of Muslim worship in Morocco and is proud to host one of the oldest universities in the world. Free afternoon to rest and take a first contact with the city that will transport you to past times. Accommodation in Riyadh.
Day 4: guided tour in the Fez medina
Guided tour of Fez. Breakfast and guided tour of the most important places in Fez. As we enter the streets of its medina (old city) we will feel that time is moving backwards: the guild structure is still present at work, the narrowness of its streets does not allow any other means of transport than donkeys and a constant tingling of people moving through the labyrinthine streets in the middle of which we will be surprised by neighbourhoods like the Andalusian ones and magnificent mosques and Koranic schools. Fez has always been associated with study and religiosity, and remains the spiritual capital of Morocco. Accommodation in Riyadh.
Day 5: Fez / Meknes / Volubilis / Mulay Idriss / Meknes
After breakfast we will head west to Volubilis, the ancient Roman city where the most important archaeological remains in Morocco are located. Free time in Volubilis to visit the area at leisure. Possibility of guided tour with local guide to know better these important ruins. After enjoying the impressive Roman remains we will go to Mulay Idris, one of the most important pilgrimage centres in Morocco. It is a small town where you can see the most interesting of the medina in less than an hour. The third stop will be Meknès, the most “humble” of Morocco’s Four Imperial Cities. In Meknès you will have free time to eat and visit the most important places in the city, go into the souk or enjoy a coffee in the square. Accommodation in Riyadh.
Day 6: Meknes / Rabat / Asilah
Breakfast and departure to Asilah via Rabat. Visit of the capital of Morocco where you can visit the Royal Palace, the mausoleum of Mohammed V, the Hassan Tower, the Oudaya Kasbah, etc. In the afternoon we will continue to the city of Asilah, where you will be able to relax and walk around its beautiful white medina. Accommodation in Hotel / Riad.
Day 7: Asilah / Tangier Port or Airport
Breakfast and at the agreed time transfer to the port or airport of Tangier. End of our service
